Melanie’s proven track record of building and advancing corporate cultures makes her a key member of Bishop-McCann’s leadership team, bringing the organization’s core values to the forefront of all that they do.

Prior to joining Bishop-McCann, Melanie spent much of her early career in New York helping lead Human Resource operations for forward-looking start-up brands including Guardian News and What If Innovation Partners, Screenvision and Nature Publishing Group. Melanie played key roles in developing HR departments and cultures that helped propel these companies forward, while also playing a significant contributing role in business plans and the development of innovation capabilities.
Melanie is a graduate of Brigham Young University-Hawaii with an HR Certification from Cornell ILR and has earned her SPHR and SHRM-SCP. Melanie is a foodie, loves to travel and spend time with her family which include two Chihuahuas, Fritz and Zeus. Melanie is passionate about supporting women re-entering the workforce through the Women’s Employment Network in Kansas City.
