This caused Conga to have difficulty finding availability in Hawaii over the timeframe that they wanted to hold their President’s Club incentive trip, a trip that rewarded their top 50 sales people for the 2016 Fiscal Year. On top of that, the leadership team at Conga wanted to make sure this trip wasn’t just any other incentive program; they wanted to make sure every attendee and their guest was treated with white-glove service from beginning to end. So, what did the Vice President of Global Sales at Conga do? Reach out to Bishop-McCann to solve the problem.
Since Bishop-McCann has a vast network of hotel relationships, we were notified of a cancellation at the Fairmont Kea Lani, which Bishop-McCann’s Sourcing team immediately booked for Conga’s incentive trip to solve their first issue.
To uphold the caliber of white-glove service Conga was looking for, the operations group at Bishop-McCann assembled a team of individuals to personally reach out to attendees with a congratulatory note, a link to register and a direct contact in case they needed additional assistance in booking activities, hotel bookings and air assistance. Our staff was available to reply to any individual requests over email or phone 24/7 since this was a global audience and to ensure immediate responses in every time zone.
After each attendee registered, they were sent a package to their designated address they input during the website registration. The package included the following:
- Customized letter from the CEO and VP of Global Sales from Conga
- Luggage Tags
- Program of Events which included an agenda, dress suggestions for each event and other pertinent information regarding trip logistics
- Sun care kit that included sunscreen, lip balm and after-sun moisturizer.
Upon arrival in Maui attendees were greeted with white-glove service at the airport, transferred to the resort and directed to a registration desk dedicated to Conga winners and their guests. They were provided their room keys and introduced to a personalized concierge staff who were at their disposal during the duration of their trip.
The welcome reception followed that evening where they were treated to a wide selection of gifts that they could choose from while enjoying the flavors of Maui via several food stations and beverage stations, including a vodka tasting by Ocean Vodka, a distillery located right on the island of Maui.
The remainder of the program included an activity of their choice, free time to relax and a final night dinner that was hosted by the CEO. He wanted to make sure that the final night dinner included the “Spirit of Aloha” and Bishop-McCann worked closely with him to create an intimate experience that included elements of the island that would create a cultural experience.
Entertainment for the evening included John Cruz, a Hawaiian Singer & Songwriter who complemented the evening with the sounds of the island. Many said it was the best trip yet because of the high-touch experience they received from beginning to end.
