2020 Motivation Masters: Five outstanding programs, including efforts for T-Mobile, Verizon and Carnival Cruise Line, will be celebrated during Northstar’s Incentive Live event.
An incentive trip redesigned to support a destination in need, a pro-soccer-themed program that dramatically boosted employee retention, and a retooled, high-tech program that upped travel agents’ loyalty to a cruise line are among this year’s 2020 Motivation Masters Award recipients. Organized each year by Incentive, the B2B brand focused on employee motivation and engagement, the awards honor four category winners in the areas of sales, channel sales, recognition and loyalty, as well as a Grand Motivation Master award that celebrates outstanding overall achievement.
The winners were selected through a rigorous process in which Incentive’s editorial team reviewed a record number of applications. Those programs exhibiting the most creative program design, innovative motivation strategies and powerful results earned the top spots.

Bishop-McCann and Verizon
The President’s Club Program at Verizon invited sales associates to “Reach the Beach” with a reward trip to Miami. With a clever marketing campaign, memorable activities and a “Price Is Right”-style merchandise reward giveaway, the program proved to be Verizon’s most popular in the past decade, with a demonstrable impact on sales.
