Bishop-McCann Named to CMI 25 List of Top Meeting Planning Companies

Sep. 2, 2016 – Bishop-McCann, a fully integrated brand experiences agency providing end-to-end solutions and producing live events for clients worldwide, has been named to the prestigious MeetingsNet CMI 25 list of top independent meeting planning companies.

Headquartered in Kansas City, Mo., with offices in Chicago, San Francisco and Minneapolis, Bishop-McCann designs and produces meetings, incentives and live events worldwide, combining Midwest culture and values with agency expertise to create a unique working experience.

MeetingsNet is a global industry resource for professional meeting planners. The annual CMI 25 list is a select directory of the biggest independents that understand corporate priorities like strategic meetings management, creative incentive design and great service. List selection is based on size and scope of company, number of corporate meetings and incentives planned, number or room nights associated with those meetings, staff size and other factors.

The listing appears in the September 2016 issue of MeetingsNet monthly magazine.

“At Bishop-McCann we believe we provide clients of every size with extraordinary experiences,” said Rob Adams, Bishop-McCann president, “We’re excited to be recognized among the top independent agencies in the country for our creativity, leadership and solution-based achievements.”

In 2015, Bishop-McCann brought comedian, actress and author Amy Poehler to Kansas City as the kickoff speaker for CHAT, the company’s new live speakers series designed to bring inspiring and educational events to its headquarters city. The three speakers in the fall focused on women’s empowerment. This year STEM education was the CHAT theme, which featured a July talk by Malala Yousafzai, a 19-year-old Pakistani woman who was shot by the Taliban in 2012 on her way to school.

Bishop-McCann organized 300 corporate meetings and incentive travel programs in 2015. In January the company opened new offices in Minneapolis. Clients include Xerox and haircare company Kevin Murphy, among others.
