University of Central Missouri Names Bishop-McCann Vice President the 2019 Distinguished Marketing Executive of the Year
Tracy Kinsey, Bishop-McCann Vice President of Sales and Marketing has been named the 2019 American Marketing Association Distinguished Marketing Executive of the Year. This award bestowed by the Marketing faculty and Organization’s student chapter at the University of Central Missouri recognizes an executive who has made outstanding contributions to the discipline of marketing as well as to his or her local community.
Kinsey, a graduate of the University of Central Missouri has had a long career in Marketing and sales but most recently has been leading Bishop-McCann’s marketing efforts, building relationships with the global brands like McDonald’s, Verizon and Hallmark that Bishop-McCann serves.
Prior to joining Bishop-McCann, Tracy spent fourteen years at Microsoft within their customer relationship management organization where he led double-digit growth. Recognized as a Meet the Expert thought leader in Customer Experience “CX”, Tracy received Microsoft’s highest selling honor as a two-time Platinum Club winner as a result of his being known as a trusted advisor to his clients, partners, and colleagues. A pioneer within the CX technology segment, Tracy has also played key leadership roles in growing numerous startup companies.
When he’s not working with client partners, Tracy is on the Board of Advisors of TargetStream Technologies and is active in his community with education and fundraising efforts around STEM, Parkinson’s, and Hope House. He has twice been nominated for University of Central Missouri’s Distinguished Alumni Award and resides in Lee’s Summit, Missouri with his wife and two daughters.
Kinsey will be addressing the University of Central Missouri’s Marketing students and faculty in acceptance of the award this fall.
