As the strong lead behind Bishop-McCann’s talent and culture initiatives, Melanie Maddock’s extensive background in the start-up community allows her to serve as a coach and collaborator throughout the organization. Melanie’s proven track record of building and advancing corporate cultures makes her a key member of Bishop-McCann’s leadership team, bringing the organization’s core values to the forefront of all that they do.

Prior to joining Bishop-McCann, Melanie spent much of her early career in New York helping lead human resource operations for forward-looking start-up brands, including Guardian News, What If Innovation Partners, Screenvision, and Nature Publishing Group. Melanie played key roles in developing HR departments and cultures that helped propel these companies forward while also playing a significant contributing role in business plans and the development of innovation capabilities. 

Melanie is a graduate of Brigham Young University-Hawaii with an HR Certification from Cornell ILR and has earned her SPHR and SHRM-SCP. She is a foodie who loves to travel and spend time with her family, which include two Chihuahuas, Chihuahuas, Zeus and Pablo.
