Joelle Morgan, Chief Experience Officer at Bishop-McCann, brings more than two decades of experience across marketing, brand, media, and experience design. She is focused on advancing how Bishop-McCann designs and delivers experiences that drive engagement and meaningful business outcomes. In her role, Joelle brings together strategy, creative, and execution to ensure every program is aligned to client goals and delivers measurable impact.
Prior to joining Bishop-McCann, Joelle led large-scale brand and experience functions within a large private equity-backed finance technology organization, where she scaled a portfolio of more than 250 events through operational efficiency, governance, and a focused sponsorship strategy. She built and led an in-house media studio and team to expand content capabilities. Under her leadership, attendee reach grew more than 50% year over year and sponsorship revenue more than doubled. She also developed an ROI platform to track real-time performance and demonstrate the impact of experiences on business outcomes.
Across her career, Joelle has worked within corporate finance and technology organizations, as well as across food and beverage, banking, pharmaceutical, real estate, and services industries, and has also founded and led her own company. She has designed and led event portfolios exceeding 350 programs, including experiences for up to 15,000 attendees and individual programs with budgets up to $45M, while leading internal teams of more than 30 and external teams exceeding 150. She is known for integrating functions, scaling teams, and building operating systems that support consistency, quality, and growth.
Joelle’s leadership style blends curiosity, long-term thinking, and a focus on people. She is known for asking the right questions, aligning teams around a clear vision, and connecting creative and experience to commercial outcomes. She builds cultures where teams feel valued, collaborate effectively, and deliver meaningful results at scale.
She began her career in Australia, founding a creative and event agency in 2002, working across corporate, nonprofit, and NGO sectors including World Vision and Doctors Without Borders. During this time, she designed and led a six-week outback experience across rural Australia. A lifelong creative, Joelle has written and directed four full-length musicals and began composing music at a young age.
Joelle is a frequent speaker at industry events, including MPI and IMEX, and actively mentors emerging talent in the events industry.
Originally from Sydney, Australia, she has lived in Fiji, Canada, and the United States. Outside of work, she enjoys skiing, hiking, sailing, and travel.
