Stella & Dot 2018 Sales Conference
Challenge/Opportunity
Two large jewelry brands, Stella & Dot and Keep Collective, hired Bishop-McCann to execute their 2018 Sales Conference for more than 2,000 attendees. The program objective was to create a dynamic event environment serving as a platform for executives to communicate business goals, reward and inspire top performers, and build camaraderie between the two very unique brands and attendee types. Even though the timeline was tight, our team jumped in and rose to the challenge.
Response/Solution
This five-day convention, themed “Hoopla,” was held at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee, and was designed with the perfect combination of business sessions, style shows, sales recognition, training, networking, parades, and most of all FUN! Motivational music helped set the mood each day, keeping the energy and excitement elevated.
They say there is a first time for everything, and this was the first time that Bishop-McCann planned a meeting for a group of attendees who had previously paid for their own admission, including meals. The first day was filled with a general session, breakouts, a fashion show promoting the new fall line, and two different evening recognition events. The Red Shoe Gala and the Boots & Bling parties recognized the top sales award winners for the year. Over the five days, we coordinated and managed a total of 54 breakout sessions, 9 general sessions, 12 champagne toasts, 5 parades, 10 raffles, and 7 additional spaces for shopping and styling.
Bishop-McCann provided a dedicated account team to partner with the Stella & Dot and Keep Collective planning team. Daily meetings helped to make sure that everyone was working together closely to execute the days’ events. Our goal was to inspire and motivate both audiences and work collaboratively to do that.
With the attendee experience as the primary focus, our account team flawlessly executed each program component, including event logistics, speakers, award presentations, on-site activities, spaces for product display, and style show management.
Outcome/Results
Bishop-McCann delivered the conference seamlessly, and with only four months to plan, we provided a successful meeting garnering loads of excellent attendee and client feedback. In fact, the client commented that she was nervous about the program due to past experiences, but as soon as she saw Bishop-McCann’s plans, she knew that she had nothing to worry about. We are looking forward to offering additional support to Stella & Dot and Keep Collective as we continue working with them to plan Hoopla 2019 in its entirety.
