With over nine years at Bishop-McCann, Laura Barnum has progressed through all roles that support the life cycle of meetings and events. Starting out as a program coordinator, advancing to program manager, and now taking on the strategic account manager role, Laura has a very cohesive outlook on what it takes to plan and execute a successful event. She has a track record of building positive client relationships while also fostering strong internal teams and being an advocate for anyone she works with. She’s known for her calm demeanor and ability to roll with change, which helps keep everything on track in times of chaos. Laura finds her job very fulfilling as each project and client brings new challenges and opportunities to innovate and learn.
In her free time, you will most likely find Laura chasing her crazy Siberian Huskey with her husband. Laura also enjoys travelling to new places with friends and family any chance she gets. When at home, she usually spends weekends exploring the never-ending list of Chicago’s must-try restaurants and breweries.
